Why Do I Believe? Poem by Dr. Antony Theodore

I believe because i am not able to believe
when lies and terror have the last words,

when human beings are forced to live without peace,
when everything looks as if worthless.

I believe because i am not able to believe
that the creation is an accident or simple coincidence.

I believe because it is love which keeps me alive.

I believe that there is one who knows the meaning of everything.


It is beautiful that i can believe because of all these.
