Why do you have this hold on me?
It really isn't fair
I miss you each and every day
I really shouldn't care.

I think of you when I wake up
And also late at night
I think of you a bit too much
It really isn't right.

It's fair to say this thing I feel
Is really rather strange
And even though I'd like it gone
This feeling just won't change.

I think of you on sunny days
And also when it rains
I think of you when driving home
And riding morning trains.

I think it's time I went to sleep
This can't be what it seems?
Good night my love, I'll close my eyes
And see you in my dreams.
