This story I tell you is of why heaven fell,
It came without notice, without ringing a bell.

On earth it came, in the darkness of night,
It came to give our lives some meaningful light.

The kids didn’t know how something could be so pure,
They didn’t know how this could be evil’s cure.

The world seemed to not recognize its warmth and care,
After all, they had forgotten how to play fare.

Cruelty and corruption held a strong hold on us,
As nothing in today’s world could be achieved without a fuss.

Too much had been lost without our notice,
Everything was so fast; there wasn’t even time to miss.

Love and concern were just words to play,
There was so much sadness that the skies were turning grey.

Earth had turned into a living hell,
And to change it all, heaven fell.
