Why I Write Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

Why I Write

Sometimes I find my writings
Quixotic and unreal
A list of dreamy preachings
Subjective to what I feel.

In this world I grieve for change
For surely it will decay
And Good will be out of range
While Wickedness rules the day.

The signs of the Times are here
And man's heart turned to stone
Rebellious, proud, and with no fear
Of God Who hold this Earth alone.

Still I hope that what I write
May touch another life and bear
A fruit of change to strive for Right
And fight for what is Just and Fair.
