Why Live In A Fool's Paradise

Rating: 5.0

The time approaches
any day
why must you yourself betray
since 1994 when doc did say
have an operation today
the uro kind gave me
just six months more to see

I have come a long way
24 years is some time
you may smilingly
chime

how long more will I myself betray
now even I really can't say

let it eventually come
as I shall soon be 80
what use is lying jobless
in homely hospice

all are in a meddle
I am not immortal
let me now silently
pass away
life has given me a long time to see
what all about life is

I am very happy for you that the uro is not correct. GOD has given you more years and you have spent most years in poetry, that IS excellent, dear Sir. Are you born in Down Under and reside now in Canada? I have enjoyed the words you wrote in this poem. Please, thank the Lord (God) that He has given you long years to stay on this dry earth. Though I am younger, but advises I have given to you, are serious ones and I do mean that.

Absolutely beautiful poetry from your golden hand, pen, heart, mind and soul. I regard you and your wife as good people and you as good poet you poet yeps poet. I mean what I say. You still write beautiful poems, worth to be read, but most times I am lacking time to read new poems or to give comments to new poems, your poems too.
