Why Not Believe - Poem by Sheila Macdonald

Just look around and you will see
Gods hand in all and in life to be
sometimes its hard to believe and say
It is Gods will that is his way
Your faith is tested many a time
But on reflection one can be sure
Yes believe for God he is pure
The path of life be it quick or slow
With lots of happenings where does time go
never the less God he looks down
Sometimes on people he must frown
But good in mankind it is always there
A helping hand maybe a prayer
So if your faith is shaken and down
Still believe he is always around
He lifts the weary with life anew
God almighty he is there for you
