Why's She Running? Poem by Ima Ryma

Why's She Running?

I am just minding my own biz
On this, a nice and sunny day.
Then I notice a woman is
Out walking and coming my way.
Wanting to be friendly, I move
So easily seen I will be.
Which she does, but seems to behoove
Her to run fast away from me.
Puzzled, I try to follow her,
But she runs faster all the more.
She's acting strange, because I'm sure
We've not seen each other before.

This woman's running, don't know why.
This skunk just wanted to say, 'Hi.'
