Wicked Clown Poem by Maddy Jones

Wicked Clown

That happy, fun clown,
He's so full of joy,
With giggles and laughs,
From the girls & the boys,

Seemingly fun,
A balloon he'll make,
Whatever you want,
It's yours to take,

How silly is he,
With that red nose,
That white makeup,
And big, bright clothes,

Handing out candy,
That I eagerly ate,
It tasted so dandy,
I regret it to date,

‘Twas sharply sweet,
The cries I then sung,
A rarely sliced meat,
I lost all my tongue,

That wicked clown,
Don't ever trust him,
Hurting for pleasure,
While filling his whim,

So please watch out,
When you get your sweets,
You don't always know,
All the tricks in your treat.
