Wilderness Poem by Ehsan Ehsan

Wilderness

A WILDERNESS IS THERE
When the nations are deprived
Of a generous and genuine genius
They are left in wilderness
Having no aim and destination before them
We are also an example of such nations
Since the death of our father
Since we came in the hands of
A ruthless, senseless and careless leadership
An embodiment of vested interests
Living on gossips and gossips
Lubricating their tongues
With the amendments on amendments
In the constitution that was made
With the earnest unanimity
To run the country of the braves
We have been left only to work and work
For the service of our empty bellies
And we have been left to make a void journey
And write a story in the wilderness
Without any aim, without a theme.
