TIRED MINDS AND WEARY HEARTS
When a noisy set is prevailing on us
When an idle trade is dominating our minds
How can we maintain our morals high?
How far can we labor hard fair and honest?
To keep our human dignity safe and alive
We are cherishing day and night
To lead a simple and honorable life
But that is becoming impossible for us
The last embers of the day light are vanishing
The darkness of night is overwhelming
Have we to live only like animals
Unwillingly willing with tired minds and weary hearts!
