Will I write a poem tonight?
Will I write it fine?
Will the verses rhyme and scan?
Writing it line-by-line.
Will my thoughts come fast or slow?
Will ‘Poet’s Block’ I suffer?
Or will YOU help me write it down?
As YOU have with every other.
I let my pen glide on my pad,
The thoughts travel down my pen,
To write another verse for YOU,
As I do ~ now and then.
My Poems now abundant are,
As on this verse I stumble,
Perhaps I need YOUR help now,
As I am YOUR Servant ~ humble.
There are fourteen days before I leave,
From my Rehab in FIFOOT,
To relive my Life with YOUR continued help,
Minus my right leg and my right foot.
