When I am old
Will you still wrap me
With your loving arms when I’m cold

Will you still care for me
When I’m in pain
Will you still long for me
When I’m far away

Will you still dry my tears
When I’m in grief
Will you still stay with me
When I’m in fear

Will you still hold my hand
When we’re walking
Will you still catch me
When I’m falling

Will you still sing for me
When I’m feeling blue
Will you still do
What you used to do

Will you still whisper to me ‘I love you”
When my hair turns gray
And my youth fades away
