Will You 4? - Poem by Michael P. McParland

Will you ever come back and talk to me my love?
Will you hold me and let me tell you my lifes story?
Maybe then you can understand so
many things so much better,
I'm not making excuses just
trying to bring understanding to my lover.

Will you ever come back and take down your walls?
Will you tell me everything about you life and so much more?
I want and need to know everything about you as well,
I know this isn't just about me and I never felt that way.
You would never fully open up either and that
hurt me just as much.
We both need to drop our walls of self defense.

I love you sweet lady do you know how much?
Will you ever realize you're my life and I need my only one?
Will you come and talk to me so I can explain
and apologize like I know we both need in our souls?
Do you realize how much I torture myself every day for my wrongs?
I love you my Angel you're my hopes, my light and my Queen.

Will you ever come talk to me so we can share our whole lives?
Will you ever forgive me like I hope and pray?
Can you respect me for the deeply flawed man that I am?
I so intensely love and respect you my best friend,
I hope that you can.
