Willow Weeps Poem by Bree Z Love

Willow Weeps

Rating: 5.0

Greet as the morning rises.
I come to you.
For your energy flows like river beds, it's never dry.
Small in your presence, so I stretch with all arms lengths.
And you bend to do your will, to release your nourishments.
An gracious gesture, as you touch soils depths.
You host lovely transformations;
due to your produce yielding in doses.
Relieving pains of the outer worlds creations.
Elated in the fluttering ascended from the inner core.
Extended your branches to meet me.
Because you knew of me through the descendant Native sons & daughters; they bore.
Riverbeds of tears; while fearfully running from the rivers of fire
The Babylonian spirit descends, as life unveils under your care.
Those old wounds, once sore but now healed.
A balm received
and a Psalm emerges
like wings.
In hindsight,
Finer than any silver or gold encasing.
Seen clear through the chrysalis.
The weeping reciprocated
as my vessel;
you embodied it with your enormous strength,
you're rooted and listen.
In the quietness, we share and delight
in my new body,
I transformed.
You welcome my every visit.
We weep in joy.
