Wind
He felt it
tugging at him
pulling
trying so hard
to push him away
to help him find an escape
so he dropped the weight of
his doubts,
his fears,
his iron feathers
and flew away
with fallen angel wings
dancing on the wind

This took me back to a memory, of an amazing gale force wind, that once lifted me, from under my oversized umbrella, sweeping me...with such a thunderous drag, from off my feet....I had long forgotten this pull....your words returned that feeling......blown away! ! ! ! Excellent
