You Never Poem by Johnny Monroe

You Never

Rating: 4.0

Your eyes...
they never search for me.

Your lips...
they never speak to me.

Your arms...
they never enfold me.

Your heart...
it never feels for me.

Your mind...
it never notices

That:

My eyes search for you.

My lips, they try to speak to you.

My arms still want to enfold you.

My heart still feels for you.

My mind notices

the nothing you have made me into....

I invite you to read me poem, She Said, He Said...as I found a connecting thread to our writes. Strangely sad, how two can become two...alone. A stirring depiction herein. Well crafted.

It's a nice poem, well written. The words you have spoken are true for many. Readers can easily relate, that is the success of a poem.
