The wind carrying lotus fragrance fine -
I think doubly of you, Lady of mine.
The phoenix has flown to a foreign place,
Leaving behind not even a slight trace.

Over here bamboo shadows a-dancing;
Now the thin night clouds start appearing.
With deep yearning, I gaze at the Moon bright;
In dreams I would see you again tonight.
