Window Daisies Poem by Edmund V. Strolis

Window Daisies

Rating: 4.5

If your carriage ride takes you by the fountains in the square.
If you find yourself along the boardwalk or in some quiet meadow
Look to see if she is gathering wild flowers for her hair
Look and see if she paints daisies to celebrate her window

I want to believe that the moon still holds a magic place for her
I send to her my kindest thoughts, a prayer from an old friend
She has a joy that glows and makes this world so much better
Set this wish free to sail to her open heart, upon a gentle wind

Oh you do have a way with words. Set this wish free to sail to her open heart, upon a gentle wind. Stunningly romantic. Admirable.
