Winter In The Afternoon Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Winter In The Afternoon

Rating: 5.0

Gentle are the grey clouds
Hovering deeply in the skies
They do not express anger--but sadness
I sense the snow thick in the air
But the clouds are unchanged
The cold wind is painful
Like the words that you spoke
And the skies turned black-- like yr love
