Winter Poem To Lost Poem by Peter S. Quinn

Winter Poem To Lost

Let the wind blow blow
to the ocean deep now,
for its time to go and go
to the dark winter's brow.

Broken promises gone by
all the dreams turned away,
dark is now the winter sky
as breeze on windows play.

Never ending times flow
on gently falling clocks beat,
as the days to night go
with their magic and treat.

Life is all a merry-go-round
in its time of never ending,
all treasures in summer found
now into coldness blending.

Let the wind blow blow
to the north now calling,
warm moments on the go
as winter is on brawling.

Remember gone summer day
and color glows to embrace,
all the earth is now gray
in its low light and ways.

Let the winter blow blow
For now, is outside dark,
Minutes to the hours flow
That once in light did spark.
