Winter's End Poem by dave lessard

Winter's End

Rating: 5.0

Lord from You flow all things good
this twilight time is grand;
the world is turning as it should
by the guidance of Your hand.

Winter's time is passing soon
the hint of Spring is near;
stars surround the crescent moon
and there's nothing evil here.

I sing a silent song of prayer
but I know You hear my voice;
and as always, You are there
since I made You my first choice.

It's fine and grand to be alive
to know the presence of Your Being;
to know peace, for which others strive
to know the truth that I am seeing.

I praise Your name up to the skies
for the splendor of You calling;
knowing now where my heart lies
from a life that once was falling.
