Wisdom - Poem by Juan Olivarez

They say the Devil is very wise.
Not because he's the Devil,
But because of the age in his eyes.

Wisdom comes only as the years go by,
And experience starts to pile up high.
Wisdom comes as the years fly by.

Trial and error, even the Devil knows,
Is how wisdom finally flows,
After many highs and lows.

Well put pardner, fortunately God lives forever so his wisdom far out distances that of Satan's. (Report) Reply
