Wise
If he had been wise.
He would have kissed the tears from her eyes.
Told her how she was so sweet.
Let her know how it hurt him to see her weep.
He would have made her happiness the most important thing in the world.
And showed her how much he loved her being his special girl.

No point he was not wise.. Very touching poem
