Wish That I Poem by Ray Hansell

Wish That I

Rating: 5.0

I sometimes wish that I
Could just go back home again
Back to my younger days
As life was so much simpler back then

I'd give up everything I've got
Just to get once more chance
To go back in time
When life was a slow dance

When I was young no one said
How fast the years would pass
I miss those years of innocence
I wish I could have made them last

I miss my younger years so much
I think about them all the time
Those memories are forever
Embedded here inside my mind

You miss the younger years but still memories dazzle with life very brilliantly. This poem is excellently penned.
