Wished To Self Inflict Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Wished To Self Inflict

Wished to self inflict.
Disappointments others have.
To identify them had.
With complaints to hear,
Intentionally to broadcast.
As accompanied agony,
On a daily basis seems more a fad.
Expecting more to face as if,
Time released.
Awaiting and wished to self inflict.

Sold on despair.
Confirming the appearance of this everywhere.
And validated to exist.
With it wished to join others.
Doing this to self inflict.

Easier it becomes.
To follow than to lead these days.
Easier it becomes.
To accept and receive,
What it is one should keep...
Supported to advocate.
Feed upon and believe.
Wished to self inflict.
With an urgency to pass this on.
Felt to feel.
And publicly adorn,
Done and wished the popularity of this...
Continues on to self inflict hopelessness.
Approved with this accepted to exist.

"What is the matter with you?
Looking happy as if you have peace of mind.
Are you nuts? ! "

-Yep!
So nuts I pray I remain crazed this way.
Self inflicted and blessed with it.-
