Wishing For Wings Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Wishing For Wings

Cars, trucks and vans, sitting in their driveways, looking
up into the sky.

Wishing the had wings so they could fly like jets in the
nighttime heavens.

All the wishing in the world, however, never makes anything
come true no matter how sincere it.
