With A Flood The Streamlet Swell (Refrain Stanza) Poem by Gert Strydom

With A Flood The Streamlet Swell (Refrain Stanza)

(for Annelize)

With a flood the streamlet swell
where it meanders in the dell
and the rushing water flow
where alone my image glow
on the pond as if from a spell
where I am fascinated by the tranquillity
but alone this scene do come to me
of this beauty I could my love tell
where it meanders in the dell.
