With All My Heart Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

With All My Heart

Forest mandala circle of life
Silent orchids
Upon vernal altars joy entrances
You were there from the beginning
By the rivers we loved
Fruit of unity
Now we chant by rocks and stones
Trying to enter gates closed

Can we touch the ideal?
Lofty tree of life
Summer wine
Tempestuous search
Beauty sublime
Is paradise a myth?

I call your name
Your lavender dreams
I cannot forsake your kiss
Feeble and weak
She hides in a thousand mirrors
Chimes ring
Desire is a wild river
She sleeps alone and waits
Love hides in the broken world

Gardens by the sea
Rainbows and tears
Souls seek ancient heaven
She lives amidst broken glass
She needs a true heart

Look out your window
Come to your balcony
Night has brought a song
A blue bird sits on a tree
Singing for your love
Can you hear me calling?
I call and call
See my plume and feathers
I dance and sing
I know you hear me
Lyrics of destiny
I sing with all my heart
