With Detecting-Sight I Want To Look Poem by Gert Strydom

With Detecting-Sight I Want To Look

From the right way I must not deviate,
in the bright day it's night to me:
in my soul a groan, m my spirit lamentation
while you do evade me day by day.
With detecting-sight I want to look into your heart,
try to see clearly what to expect.
I want to reflect on everything that I find
as I do not comprehend your inner-self
and I beg God for a bright kind of light
to view everything in the right perspective,
for your behaviour and words a greater comprehension,
where you do believe that you are serving Him sincerely,
but do bar yourself and your life in secrecy
and act like no husband does deserve.
