I found you with eternal peace
How you lye down with complete ease
No noise, no worry or reflection please
No one around to joke or tease

You were asking me to visit once
Something you wanted to disclose and pronounce
I took it lightly and ignored since
I had no idea about its seriousness hence

I enter your room with guilty conscience
I had not conceded or attempted for compliance
I was feeling deeply inside and regretted
Her eyes stared at roof now little deflected

“My dear” I was not disclosing so far
Now time has come for me to leave and join the stars
You would forgive me for my sturdy silence
I feel completely relieved in your presence

I could understand nothing from her whispers
She was making desperate try to utter
I could pick something here and there
She wanted to confide in me and stay near

She was hiding the truth since long
She was feeling guilty and wrong
Even though she had committed no ills
But she had clear conscience with common sense

She chose to remain quiet and preferred to talk no more
I too was preoccupied and confined to the memory in store
She was my close friend and advised me on many occasion
I could think of no ill acts on her parts and ruled out of question

She pressed my hand with motherly affection
This was only true part by her with action
Her eyes rolled tears with so much affection
I too cried with so much emotion and reaction

I did not press long for its disclosure
She was now seemed relieved from pressure
She had full contentment with whatever she did
She was now slowly closing her eye lids

I found you with eternal peace
How you lay down with complete ease
No noise, no worry or reflection please
No one around to joke or tease
