I loved the village
As I had seen it on book’s page
Even though stories about it were heard
And I had always looked forward
I heard about fresh air and ponds
Good green fresh vegetable with lovely bond
People may gather in the evening
And exchange before part for dining
Whole of village sleeps before dark
Only you can hear dog’s bark
That too occasionally when some strangers enter
Dog’s keep them at bay and at the center
It is blessed with natural surrounding
But needs enough of funding
For growth and development
There is absolutely no heavy movement
Cuckoo airs melody in early morning
So the birds too do chirping
Birds move in open sky with formation
As if heading for new relation
Trade is as usual with no much inclusion
Highly sophisticated goods are not opted with confusion
It is after all nature’s first choice
Villagers have limited option with little voice
That is countryside
You can feel country stands by the side
People so happy and kind
Unconcerned with the world so blind
Yet they are same with no progress
Smile is taken away from the face
Education and other facilities remain on paper
So much work is required to alter
