With That I Am Sure Poem by Francis Duggan

With That I Am Sure

We look at things differently her, him, you and I
And what's truthful to me to you may be a lie
From living wisdom and knowledge we should gain
But why some grow more arrogant seems hard to explain
Us humans are competitive with each other we like to compete
And success can often give rise to conceit
We are judged by the material things and money we accumulate
The pauper is one others don't celebrate
The gene of greed in us cannot be denied
With what we have most of us not satisfied
I only say here what has been said before
With many too many it is much wants more
We all are so different, her, him, you and me
With that I am sure most would have to agree.
