With Thoughts Of Suicide - Poem by Emily James

With thoughts of suicide
I lie upon the floor
For the love I still love
loves me no more.
She ripped out my heart
and wears it like a glove
Why can't she see
all I want to give her is my love?
I promise you my all
my everything, my life
Just come back
let's end all the strife.
He can't love you like I do
you must be true to yourself
Your heart knows the truth
you left it on my shelf.
I know you are scared
all this so new
But without me, you know it
you'll forever be blue.
He's your best friend
yes, this I know
But your heart belongs with me
there's no need to feel such woe.
Please come back
for without you I cannot live
If you don't I promise you
yourself you'll never forgive
I'll be dead by morning
do not fret
You're running out of time
you ain't seen nothing yet.
