Withering Away Poem by Stacey Chan

Withering Away

I looked in Life's Mirror
and saw I wasn't there
I had no reason to live
and life was completely bare

I looked outside my window
and saw trees uprooted in the hail
it reminded me of how hard I fought
just for death to come out of her veil

I felt i was like a sprain
a sprain healed in half a day
I am slowly leaving this world
slowly withering away....
