Without A Clue Poem by Shaun Cronick

Without A Clue

I kid myself many times,
That I know everything.
As reality smacks my face,
Then takes another swing.

I need to be brought down,
More than a peg or two.
For just who am I kidding,
When I haven't got a clue.

Proof is in the pudding,
So the old adage goes.
I'm simply not that clever,
The truth I now disclose.

Thomas nothing surprises me on this site anymore. I put it up early to clear the writing poem platform for another. Thanks man and take care. And when those 'prolific' poets let rip I do my dirty laundry for six hours, come back and they're still uploading.
