Without Doubt Poem by Gert Strydom

Without Doubt

(after N. P. van Wyk Louw)

Without doubt
I want to immediately come to you
and everything that is unsaid that lies between us
I want to say in clear love filled words
but at times I feel totally without words and stupid

and now in my early middle life years
I do want you constantly near to me,
I want to tell you of the things
that people do not talk about
and that which is pure, holy and noble
I want to leave with you.
