Without My Brothers, I Have No Love. Poem by Jay'Reeona Collins

Without My Brothers, I Have No Love.

Rating: 4.0

Every once in a while
My brothers would turn around.
And seeing me awake,
Would reach out their hand for me to take.

Every once in a while
I rise, and awake,
Praying to Lord, to make my life as sweet as cake…….

Where did you go?
Did you follow the wind from whence it comes and blows;
No....You're just dead and gone.
Why does this pain keep raining on?

I can't take this pain, no more.
Can't I love you again; once more…
My whole life has turned upside down
Today, people always see me frown.

My soul is breaking;
My tears are still raining;
So if I shall die today,
I pray to the Lord, my soul to take;
The old me is dead and gone.
Dead; and Gone; away.
