Without The Priest And The Crowd Poem by Adams King

Without The Priest And The Crowd

Rating: 5.0

Let the moon be our witness
and the stars record our vows
nothing more and nothing less
is been needed to wear love's crown

Tonight I make you my wife
without the priest and the crowds
and together we share one life
till this hairy man grow grey and bald

Must marriage be marked by many
or bare more watcher's eyes
for we need not the presence of any
to entangle as one two lives

As long as Grandmaster watches
behind the curtains of clouds
and hear even our unspoken promises
we need not the priest nor the crowd

A wonderful poem of love. A unique kind of marriage. A well crafted write.
