Without You, I Am Nothing Poem by Laura Rodriguez

Without You, I Am Nothing

Every time I see an ambulance pass by,
I wish it was me they were coming to get.
Some times I cut myself with a knife,
but I can never bleed to death.
I wish I could just close my eyes and never open then again.
I wish and I wish I could just leave this place.
I know I would cause you a lot of pain to you,
but think about the pain I'm going through without you.
I wait a lifetime just to hear your voice but a few seconds.
That is pain to me.
You're not here with me and I die a little bit.
My heart stops beating for two minutes each hour,
that passes when I'm without you.
Sometimes I can't feel my heart beat.
Days go by and I pray to God to take my life,
because a life without you is not a life.
