Woman Poem by Mario, Lucien, Rene Odekerken

Woman

You are root and wind,
firm in the earth, free in the air.
You carry the morning sun on your skin
and the story of time in your hands.

You are a river that never stops,
a fire that burns without permission,
storm and calm in the same gaze,
strength wrapped in tenderness.

They have called you by a thousand names,
tried to confine you in small words,
but you do not fit in cages or molds.
You are vastness, you are infinite.

Woman,
You need mo permission to be.
