Woodcutting Sounds Poem by Luo Zhihai

Woodcutting Sounds

樵声

夜半樵声离月近
清晨竹杖访云深
一帘风趣弹新曲
几缕雨丝奏古音

Woodcutting Sounds

In the mid evening
woodcutting sounds was near the moon
In the early morning
a bamboo cane visited clouds deep
A curtain of the windy fun
played the new music
Several wisp of the rainy silks
played the ancient music
