Woodland Whispers Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Woodland Whispers

The lovely apple blossoms
are filling up their trees,
There amidst the woodland,
A gentle sight to see.

The brisk breeze sends a whisper,
Around that woodland space.
This really is a special scene,
A spacious, silent place.

Many birds adore it,
Roosting in its trees,
They fly with so much vigour,
Carried with the breeze.

It surely is the little things,
that soothe the heart and soul,
Nature at its finest,
Makes my life feel whole.
