POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Written in the form of poetry known as Pantoum. Inspired by the article " Biggest Case on Abortion in 30 Years: SCOTUS Takes Up Mississippi Law, Pro-Lifers Hopeful" . (National Catholic Register) In the last line of the 4th stanza, it is envisioned the ‘beautiful babies, ' now grown, carry the mantle forward and in the final line of the poem become the next generation of defenders of life ‘waving large placards of babies born.'
