Wordless Poem by Leslie Ching

Wordless

I am the sight that needs no eye
The warmest hues of summer sky
I am the light that needs no sun
A grain of truth not easily won

I am the love that needs no heart
The solemn vow “death do us part”
I am the tears shed from no soul
A single piece, need not be whole

I am the speech that needs no tongue
The fearless deeds of heroes unsung
I speak of truth, I seek out lies
I am of passion and despise

I am the thought that needs no mind
The bonds of maternal love entwined
I am the flight that needs no bird
I am the poem that needs no word.
