Wordless Prayer Poem by Dónall Dempsey

Wordless Prayer

Rating: 5.0

You ripen
in the sun

grown browner
become berrier

as the clasp
of your bra

becomes undone

and I the bearer
of the oil

anoint you
the anointed one

with sun
tan oil

in this ceremony
of love

where I
touched by your nakedness

place a kiss
between your shoulder blades

and lost
for words

cry out with
my heart

a wordless prayer:

“Oh love...oh love...
oh love! ”

You have the amazing ability to celebrate every little moment no matter how trival it is...you see love in everything and anything and can turn the moment into an eternal second that lives in the mind forever. love Dee Dee
