Words (Acrostic) Poem by Cheng Zheng

Words (Acrostic)

Rating: 5.0

Written a few months ago after my religious pearl harbour so to speak dealing with existential confusion (though it may not look like it)

*************************

Words are soft, words are sweet
Hands like feathers writest them
Angelic wings, dreamly beat
Take my hand, the sky we greet

Armed with frost, cold as lust
Rime and fire, yonder dust
Envy is found by those who drowned

Want burns like a thousand suns
Eye am I, a covenant of nuns

Holy perfection, shining hair
Eye of I, by God thou art fair
Round thine altar I dance
Enveloped in heaven’s trance

F*** it all
Open and fall
Rise up again to the devil’s call
? is heard in the endless hall

Such a beautiful poem and then left alone, how saddest!
