Words After Words - Poem by Taher Shemaly

Words after words
stuffed by letters my mind is
Claim not to understand a thing
but how my life just became like this
The tears I've dropped in past
left apart without any bliss
Believe it or not if I said by now
was it for sadness I did it or happiness
But all I can say in such matter
life goes on and people for forgiveness
Each day passes with a dropped leaf
in my heart to you I shall call the bless
Salam, Shalom or Shlama
doesn't really matter what tongue I guess
But it is just you and the core inside
that guide you to living or the lifeless
Here and there now and after
I shall ask, how my life been like this?
