I stray thought sometimes
if weaving subtle silken threads
into succinct poetic lines
it is possible to write
essence of an entire novel
into a simple poem
so I write poetry
well crafted or rough words
to awaken minds
words can stir feelings
birth thoughts activate emotions
awake subconscious
