Most people say the world will end,
For some their world already did.
For hearts that suffer cannot mend,
Without the one to heal its need.
Time stops where life is but suspended -
All caught in instant numbing freeze,
When farewells have, all but ended
The ties that bound two hearts in bliss.
Alone to breathe mere Existence
Each day's a world of crumbling state,
Yearnings nag in their persistence
An end familiar, wrought by Fate.
