World-Escape Poem by james watkin

World-Escape

To wander afar, or to
Just walk out the door
As one scapes it, in a sense
World-absorbed the more!

Relief, in letting it all
Fall away behind
What does clamber, tendril-like
Attentions to bind

Will barely to the road's end
Have come, exhaling
When from o'er some garden fence
One will be hailing!
